A Short Biography:
Anthony Lombard received his M.Sc. level postgraduate degree in engineering (Diplôme d'Ingénieur) from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Marseille (now, Ecole Centrale de Marseille), France in 2004. In 2004 he was with the speech research group at the University of Wales, Swansea (UK) working on automatic speaker recognition.
Since 2005, Anthony Lombard is a member of the research staff at the Chair of Multimedia Communications and Signal Processing, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. His current research interests include multichannel adaptive algorithms for audio signal processing, and their applications to acoustic source localization, blind source separation of convolutive mixtures, adaptive interference cancellation and feedback cancellation in hearing-aids.
In 2006, he received the Best Paper Award of the IEEE International Conference on Multisensor Fusion and Integration for Intelligent Systems (MFI).
